Cleansers are a facial care product used to remove make-up, dead skin cells, oil, dirt, and other types of pollutants which travel from the air to your face.  All of these substances are culprits in the creation of acne.

The process of cleansing works to unclog the pores which consequently does its job to prevent acne.

Cleansers can be used multiple times a day and are usually part of a skin care practice.  Cleansers are preferred as a form of acne face wash over the traditional bar of soap due to its moisturizing ingredients.  Many people who wash their face with a bar of soap find their skin left dry and brittle.
